RhythmRoot is a metronome and chromatic tuner built for real practice. The click is scheduled by counting audio samples, not by system timers, so it cannot drift, drag, or rush. The tuner reads pitch through YIN analysis with smoothing, so the needle holds steady instead of jumping octaves on harmonics. And nothing is behind a paywall.

A METRONOME THAT KEEPS TIME
20–300 BPM with a big slider, tap tempo and fine steppers. Tap any beat dot to accent it. Clicks continue with the screen off, so you can pocket your phone and play.

A TUNER THAT HOLDS STILL
Chromatic tuning for any instrument — guitar, violin, ukulele, brass, voice. Clear note display, a cents needle that settles instead of twitching, and A4 calibration from 415 to 466 Hz. Microphone audio is analyzed in real time on your device and never recorded or sent anywhere.

TRAIN YOUR TEMPO
Pick a start and target BPM and a number of bars — RhythmRoot ramps the tempo for you while you keep up.

SETLISTS AND PRESETS
Save any tempo, meter, subdivision and accent combination with a name. Load it in one tap at rehearsal.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
RhythmRoot collects no data whatsoever. No analytics or tracking, and every feature works offline — the only time the app touches the network is Google Play's own billing, and only if you choose to leave a tip.

If RhythmRoot earns a place on your music stand, there's an optional tip jar in Settings. Tipping is never required — every feature is already yours.
