SIMPLE MODE — INTERNET CHECK IN ONE TAP

Not sure if your internet is working? Open Ping Network Tool and tap a single button. The app sends an ICMP probe, interprets the result, and replies in plain English: "Internet is available" or a clear explanation of what went wrong — DNS failure, host unreachable, or no connectivity. No technical background required. If you want to dig deeper, switch to Advanced mode at any time.

ADVANCED MODE — LINUX-STYLE PING AND TRACEROUTE

Advanced mode gives you a terminal-style interface with three tabs:

▶ Ping tab: Enter any hostname or IP address, configure packet size, interval, and count, then watch live ICMP output stream line by line — identical to ping on Linux. A live RTT graph plots each response so you can instantly spot jitter and packet loss. Tap Trace to run a full traceroute to the same host, revealing every hop and its round-trip latency. Copy the full session output to clipboard in one tap for sharing or documentation.

▶ History tab: Every ping and traceroute session is saved automatically with full output and RTT statistics (min, avg, max, mdev). Your history persists across restarts, giving you a complete record of your network tests.

▶ Network tab: See your device's Wi-Fi IP, external IP address (fetched via ipify.org), DNS server (Android), and detected country at a glance. Tap Refresh to get the latest external IP — ideal for verifying VPN exit nodes or confirming your public address after network changes.

Store up to five hosts in the free plan for quick access without retyping. Each saved host can be enrolled in background monitoring, which periodically pings it and notifies you if it stops responding.
