Each entry captures a plant’s name, the date, its current growth stage, and your written notes, exactly like a page in a gardener’s journal. The app keeps all your data safe and private, stored locally on your device so you never need an account or internet connection. From the Dashboard, you see at a glance how many entries you made today, how many different plants you are tracking, and a preview of your latest observation. A quick-add button takes you straight to the note-taking screen where you can fill in the plant name, pick a date, select the growth stage, and jot down what you noticed. As you type the plant name, the app suggests plants you have already recorded, keeping your garden list tidy and consistent. The Plants tab organizes all your unique plants alphabetically, showing a tiny leaf thumbnail and the date of the last observation for each. Tap any plant to scroll through its complete observation history and watch its journey from seedling to harvest. The Garden Log presents every observation in reverse chronological order, with each card displaying the plant name, date stamp, a growth stage badge, and a short snippet of your notes. If you need to clean up old entries, simply swipe a card to delete it. Both the Plants list and the Garden Log include a search bar so you can quickly find a specific plant or note even as your collection grows. The growth stage selector breaks down into clear categories like Seedling, Vegetative, Flowering, and Harvest, helping you document each phase precisely. All observation cards have a warm botanical illustration plate style, with a cream background, soft green watermarks, and handwritten typography that makes reviewing your garden history feel like flipping through a treasured sketchbook.
