Do you remember the name of that place where you had the best rice of your life?
RestaurantApp is a personal diary of everything you eat: the restaurant, the dish and the day you went, with a photo, a rating, the price and whatever notes you feel like writing. A year from now you'll still know why that rice was worth it.

It works entirely without an account and without an internet connection. It is
not a cut-down version waiting for you to sign up: it is the app.

THREE THINGS, CONNECTED

Restaurants, dishes and visits are three separate records that link to each
other. The place, what you ordered there, and the night you went. So you can look up a dish when you can't remember where you ate it, or open a restaurant and see the five times you've been and what you had each time.

PHOTOS AND THE MAP

Every dish and every visit keeps its own photos on your phone, and they show up in the list even with no signal. Put a restaurant on the map and it appears with its rating and its visits: useful for deciding where to eat when you are already out.

YOUR TAGS, YOUR FILTERS

Colour-coded tags you make up yourself: "spicy", "takeaway", "would go back", "pricey but worth it". Plus filters by rating, price, date or tag to find
anything among hundreds of entries.

OFFLINE, JUST THE SAME

The diary lives on your phone, in a database on the device itself. In a basement with no signal the app opens, searches and writes exactly as it does on wifi.

FRIENDS, IF YOU FEEL LIKE IT

You can share the entries you choose, tag whoever was eating with you, and see what your friends are eating. Every entry starts out private, and sharing is a decision you make one by one. If you want none of this, don't create an account and the social side does not exist.

YOUR BACKUP, YOURS

Settings → Backups creates a file with the whole diary and all its photos, in an open format. Keep it wherever you like and restore it whenever you like, on this phone or another one.

PRIVACY, FOR REAL

Without an account, not one piece of data leaves your phone. And with an account:

• No advertising, no advertising IDs and no ad networks.
• No analytics: nothing measures which screens you open or how long you spend.
• Your diary is not used to train artificial intelligence models.
• Every entry is private by default.

An account does two things and only two: carry your diary to another device and share with friends. Both are optional.

TEN LANGUAGES AND TWO THEMES

Spanish, English, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese and Korean, with dates and prices in each one's format. Light and dark themes, following the system or picked by hand.
