Choose any app on your child's phone — YouTube, Instagram, games, anything — and put it behind a quiz gate. The moment your child opens it, a lock overlay appears. The only way through? Answering correctly. No PIN guessing. No shortcuts.

Parents can use a PIN bypass for emergencies — but that time never counts toward the daily screen time allowance.

⏱ Intelligent Screen Time Limits

Set a daily device allowance (weekdays and weekends separately), then assign individual per-app time budgets. Two layers of protection:

• Overall daily limit — once total quiz-unlocked time hits your cap, all gated apps lock for the day. • Per-app limit — YouTube might get 1 hour, games 30 minutes. Completely your call.

Limits snap to 30-minute intervals. A live budget bar shows how much of your daily allowance is consumed by app limits, so you never over-configure.

Questions are mapped to your child's class level (Grades 4–8) and cover: • Mathematics — Numbers, algebra, geometry • English — Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension • Science — Physics, chemistry, biology • Social Studies - History, Geography, Civics

Set a specific subject or let Mixed mode rotate automatically. Difficulty adjusts from Easy to Hard, or let Auto mode calibrate based on recent performance.

• Live screen time chart — see which apps were used and for how long • Attempt history — every quiz attempt logged with subject, difficulty, and result • Full settings — subject, difficulty, question count, cooldown, and passing score

🔒 Secure by Design

Parent controls are protected by a hardware-encrypted PIN. Lock overlays cannot be dismissed without answering correctly or using the parent PIN. All data is secured with per-user Firebase rules.
