Furin: Idle Wind Bells Foundry

Enohama Ironworks is a small bell yard a little apart from the town, in a Japanese valley. It is spring: sakura, green hills, sun. The card posted on the furnace has one sentence.

Produce wind bells.

Furin (風鈴) is a quiet idle game about following that one order without limit. Cast bells, buy iron off the boats, sharpen your moulds, set your price and watch the town's demand answer. The yard grows from a craft into a works, and the works keeps growing. Every bell comes out of the furnace's mouth in front of you, and every bell has the same sweet note, until there are so many of them that the note is the weather.

• Play in five-minute visits. The furnace works while you are away, and the ledger tells you what came in when you return.
• A living picture: the yard, the piles of iron and bells, the light and the season all follow your numbers.
• Cards, machines, a market, a fleet and a night watch to run, with a story told at every crossing.
• Available in English, Japanese, French and Bernese German.
• Free to play to the end. One optional purchase, the Patron: the night watch always full, missions paid twice, and no breaks to sit with the bells. Bought once, for good.
• No account and no sign-up. Your progress stays on your phone.
• On first launch the yard office asks whether it may send a small tally of how the game is played, to find where players stall and what breaks. It is off until you say yes, and you can change your answer in the menu at any time.

Furin is made by one person at Sunnybyte. It is in closed testing: tell us what rings true and what does not.
