I’m Csaba, a father of two young children from Europe. I wanted my kids to learn a foreign language in a playful way. However, I couldn’t find a picture dictionary that suited both their needs and mine. So, using my experience in software design and education, my wife and I created our own.

👉 Categories and Phrases: I’ve organized more than 1,000 Arabic words into over 30 categories, suitable for toddlers and older children alike!

👉 Age Groups: From simple baby categories to more complex content, this dictionary is useful for learning Arabic from age 2 through the teenage years.

👉 Images: The method is based on visuals! Magical illustrations come to life with smiles and funny expressions, making learning fun and helping children easily memorize Arabic words.

👉 Audio: Every word or phrase includes native pronunciation, capturing children’s attention and improving efficiency in learning.

👉 Playful Arabic Learning: The app features a learning module (PixiSchool) and 5 interactive games to make learning Arabic fun: PixiMemory, PixiQuiz, PixiPair, PixiSay, and PixiWords.

👉 Contextual Learning: Each phrase includes a brief explanation and a translation, which can also be listened to, making learning Arabic phrases clear and enjoyable.

Games and Skills Developed:

👉 PixiMemory: A classic memory game where children match identical cards. Each correct match plays the Arabic word, enhancing vocabulary, memory, and focus.

👉 PixiSpelling: An Arabic alphabet game where players build the correct Arabic word from letters shown on screen, using a picture as a clue. Once the word is completed, it's pronounced by a native speaker – helping kids practice spelling, listening, and word recognition in Arabic.

👉 PixiQuiz: Kids choose the picture matching the displayed word from 4 options. Mistakes can be retried, helping with word recognition and visual association.

👉 PixiPair: Match colorful cards with their black-and-white pairs. Success triggers the Arabic pronunciation, improving focus, fine motor skills, and vocabulary.

👉 PixiSay: Children say the name of the object shown in the picture. If unsure, they can flip the card to hear the correct Arabic pronunciation.

👉 PixiWords: Kids choose the correct phrase for the picture from 4 options, boosting listening comprehension and reading skills in Arabic.
