The Saron Chrome extension brings the traditional Indonesian Gamelan instrument right to your browser. Featuring authentic sounds from seven bronze bars, this app supports multi-touch interaction and vibrant animations such as flowers, fireballs, and fireworks which enhance the musical experience.

Users can record their performances, manage recorded audio files, and explore three types of Saron instruments—Peking (Panerus), Barung, and Demung—with two traditional tuning systems: Pelog and Slendro. Regular updates ensure new features and bug fixes, making it a great tool for enthusiasts of Indonesian music and cultural instruments.
