User Reviews

The Stroke Riskometer app is broadly endorsed by major health organizations and is available in multiple languages for free, making it accessible and useful for stroke risk assessment. However, users report bugs that impair functionality, such as questions not accepting answers and persistent error notifications. Additionally, the app’s user interface can be difficult to read in bright environments, and some aspects of the risk assessment (like subjective memory questions) may skew results disproportionately or miss key factors like cholesterol.

  • User interface problems like dark menu colors being hard to read in bright light.
  • Lacks some important inputs like cholesterol levels and subjective questions affecting results disproportionately.

Seems bizarre that the question about thinking you have poor memory changed my risk MUCH more than any other factor I tested changing. That is such a subjective thing, influenced by so many factors. Also bizarre that it doesn't ask for cholesterol levels. And the dark menu choices list is almost totally unreadable in bright light.
