Street Crime Pulse is a digital platform designed to provide a secure and direct digital channel for the citizens of KPK to report incidents immediately, increasing police responsiveness and transparency.
Key Features for Citizens:
Secure Registration & Login: Citizens can register securely using credentials, profile pictures, and mandatory CNIC verification. Access is simple using a CNIC Number and Password.
Direct Incident Reporting: Users provide all necessary details based on the incident type (e.g., dacoity, snatching).
Multimedia Evidence: The app allows users to attach essential multimedia evidence, including images, videos, and audio recordings.
Targeted Dispatch: Reports are automatically forwarded to the Nearest Police Station based on the incident location (latitude and longitude) to ensure the report goes directly to the responsible unit.
Real-Time Notifications: Public users are automatically notified via the application on every recovery update regarding their reported case.
Station Reporting: Citizens without an account can still file a report at their nearest Police Station, where the incident can be logged via the web portal.
Police & Administrative Oversight:
Case Verification & Action: Police users review reported details, verify the case as Valid or Invalid, and officially register valid cases.
Recovery Tracking: Police users take action and add details of any recoveries made directly via the portal.
Crime Mapping: The system includes access to a real-time Crime Map of the entire KPK to visualize hotspots and crime trends.
Announcements: The platform provides the ability to issue crucial announcements to all public users.
