Amortia Loan

Most loan calculators hand you one number — the monthly payment — and stop right
there, exactly where the interesting part begins. Amortia Loan goes the other way.
It opens the loan up and shows you where each dollar actually lands, month after
month, until the balance hits zero.

Unlike the calculator widget on a bank's marketing page, Amortia isn't trying to
move you toward a "yes." There is no rate it wants you to pick, no pre-approval
funnel, no email box disguised as a "get your estimate" button. You type the
numbers, you read the truth, you close the app. That's the whole transaction.

Enter the loan amount, the APR, and a term in years or months. Amortia returns the
monthly payment, total interest, total amount paid, the number of months to payoff,
and the actual calendar month you'll be free of it. Add an optional extra monthly
payment and it immediately shows how many months you'd shave off and how much
interest you'd never have to hand over. Pick your currency symbol — dollars, euros,
pounds, yen, rupees, rubles.

Schedule
The full amortization table, drawn from the same inputs (extra payment included).
Row by row: payment number, payment, how much went to principal, how much went to
interest, and the balance that's left. Watch the interest column shrink and the
principal column grow — the single most useful picture in personal lending, and the
one lenders rarely print.

Compare offers like an adult. Save any scenario with a name, line several up against
each other, and tap one to drop it straight back into Calculate. A 4.9% loan over 6
years versus a 6.5% loan over 5 — keep both, decide later. Delete the ones you've
ruled out.
