The app for configuring the Steiner IFS rifle scope via Bluetooth.

All settings of the Steiner M7Xi IFS can be easily changed with the help of the STEINER IFS App and transferred to the IFS via Bluetooth:

- Configuring all basic settings
- Importing and maintaining ammunition data and ballistic data
- Free and easy configuration of the display

The app can be installed on mobile devices.  After successful installation, the start icon appears on the mobile device.

NOTE: Bluetooth must be activated in both the mobile device and the IFS.

This app is almost non-functional. It took me about five hours to get it to work one time and pair with my Steiner IFS. A scope this expensive should have a real manual and a real app. This is a joke. I've been suffering through it for months because right now nobody else makes a scope with a HUD in it. The moment they do I'll ditch this overpriced German scope and its abysmal user interface.

Although App gives a choice between metric or imperial units, you can't enter zero range in Yds, scope height in inches, range to target in Yds, barometric pressure in inHg, wind in mph, etc... Very annoying as one has to waste time with conversions. Muzzle speed variation can only be entered as a gradient, vs. different speeds at different temperatures. There's no provision for various BCs at different speeds, or truing. The IFS system has a lot of potential, but the App needs lots of work!!!😡
