Welcome to Starveil Grove — a quiet, atmospheric experience built around balance, chance, and calm tension.

The game takes place in a twilight forest where soft, star-like lights float gently between the trees. From the very beginning, the player is greeted by a light-gray chicken adorned with subtle golden shimmer — a silent guide into this mysterious grove.

At the core of Starveil Grove lies a simple yet deliberate system. The player starts each session with a balance of 100 and exactly 10 attempts. Each attempt activates a fortune wheel divided into ten sectors, each carrying a fixed positive or negative value. Once the START button is pressed, the wheel begins its motion, and a stationary pointer above it determines the result.

After each attempt, the selected value is applied directly to the current balance, and the number of remaining attempts is reduced by one. There are no hidden modifiers, no interruptions, and no alternate paths — only clear outcomes and measured progression.

The session concludes automatically after all 10 attempts are used. If the final balance is zero or higher, the result is a victory. If it falls below zero, the session ends in defeat. In both cases, the player is shown a clear result screen and offered the option to begin a new session.

Starveil Grove records only completed sessions. The best positive result achieved after all 10 attempts is saved to the records. Results are stored exclusively when a session ends naturally with a win or loss. If the game is interrupted, minimized, closed, or exited to the main menu before completion, no records are saved.

This design emphasizes intention, completion, and consequence — inviting the player to stay present until the very end.
