Star Nest

Star Nest invites you into a peaceful yet engaging vertical journey set beneath a vast night sky. The background is filled with deep blues and purples, glowing constellations, and a softly shining Milky Way stretching across the horizon. At the center of this universe is a small chicken whose feathers shimmer with tiny star-like sparkles, creating a magical contrast between warmth and cosmic mystery.

In Star Nest, gameplay is inspired by classic vertical jumping mechanics, focused on smooth motion and precise timing. From the very beginning, the character starts on a visible platform and is already jumping, not falling through empty space. This creates a clear and fair starting point, allowing players to instantly understand the rhythm of movement and focus on upward progress.

As the character ascends, the game measures the height reached in meters. This value represents the main result of each session and reflects how far the player has traveled into the starry sky. If the recorded height is greater than zero, it can be saved into the records, making every successful climb meaningful.

The game carefully manages progress and results. A numeric result is added to the records only when a game session ends naturally, whether through success or failure. If the session is interrupted by minimizing the app, closing it, or exiting to the main menu, the result is not saved. This ensures that records remain consistent and represent completed runs only.

When the app is minimized or the player switches to another application, Star Nest automatically pauses and shows a pause window. The game resumes only after the player closes this window, preserving the current state and maintaining fair play. While any dialog window is open, interaction with the game world is disabled, preventing multitap actions or opening multiple windows at once.

Character behavior at the screen boundaries is carefully controlled to keep gameplay intuitive. When the character reaches the edge of the screen, it may safely reappear from the opposite side, be restricted from leaving the visible area, or end the session, depending on the situation. This logic keeps movement predictable and visually clean, without breaking immersion.
