Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit

Fire Alarm Tech Toolkit is a field app built for fire alarm technicians who need quick calculators, organized project records, service tracking, and clean reports while working on site.

The app brings common fire alarm field tools into one place, including DIP switch addressing, rotary dial addressing, barcode and QR scanning, battery load checks, battery date decoding, conduit fill, and resistor band reference tools. It is designed for daily service, inspection, troubleshooting, and documentation work.

Create local projects for buildings, panels, floors, and devices. Track device type, location, address, serial number, zone, status, notes, tags, and service dates. Common fire alarm assets are included, such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, duct detectors, horn strobes, strobes, speaker strobes, monitor modules, control modules, relay modules, NAC panels, power supplies, FACPs, annunciators, batteries, flow switches, tamper switches, and extinguishers.

Service Mode helps you work through selected assets by project, floor, or asset type. Track completed service, dirty devices, trouble conditions, missing devices, replaced devices, extinguishers needing recharge or hydro, inaccessible assets, and other service results. Use site notes to capture job details and keep project documentation together.

The barcode scanner helps capture serial numbers and QR codes faster, with duplicate detection and options to add scanned values into project device records. DIP switch and rotary dial tools can also feed address values into device records, reducing repeated typing during field work.

Reports are built for real job handoff. Generate project PDFs, floor PDFs, service reports, dirty device reports, extinguisher service reports, status reports, CSV exports, and project summaries. Share reports through the device share sheet, or create an expiring project link and QR code to transfer project data to another device.
