Its a very unique app. Only thing that time taken to respond to the shortcut is more than the typical reaction time for opening folders in app drawer, launching shortcuts

Unable to place the shortcut on homescreen (using miui launcher), the dialog to place shortcut never appear... I tested with other apps and they work fine. Edit: how am I able to place shortcuts using other apps like quick shortcut then?
