CoralIS

CoralIS is an Android application designed to raise awareness about marine conservation in the Philippines, with a particular focus on the province of Cavite. The app serves as a comprehensive tool for educating users about the diverse marine life in the region, the various threats it faces, and the ongoing conservation efforts.

In addition to providing educational content, CoralIS also enables users to actively participate in conservation activities through two key features:

1. Create and Register for Local Conservation Events: Users can create and organize local conservation events such as beach cleanups, coral planting activities, and educational workshops. The platform enables users to register for these events, providing opportunities for individuals and communities to come together and make a positive impact on their local marine environments. Detailed event pages include information about the event's goals, schedule, location, and participant requirements, making it easy for users to get involved and contribute to conservation efforts.

2. Report and Review Marine-Related Incidents: CoralIS offers a user-friendly platform for reporting marine-related incidents such as illegal fishing activities, coral bleaching, pollution, and wildlife disturbances. By reporting these incidents, users help authorities and conservation organizations respond promptly and effectively. The reporting feature allows users to upload photos, provide descriptions, and pinpoint locations on a map, ensuring that the information is accurate and actionable.
