FINALFANTASY CRYSTALCHRONICLES mobile retains beautiful graphics and enjoyable solo gameplay reminiscent of the original. However, it suffers from poor multiplayer implementation, limited story sharing, and unstable connections. Controls are a major downside, lacking controller support and featuring awkward item pickup and command systems. Despite these drawbacks, fans appreciate the classic atmosphere and some new features, though multiplayer functionality and control improvements are commonly requested.

Pros

Graphics are beautiful and faithful to the original GameCube version, maintaining the classic charm.
Gameplay is generally fun and can be a good time-killer, especially for solo play.
The game includes multiple voice options and good sound design, adding to the experience.
Controls are somewhat satisfactory for a mobile port, working better than expected on touch screens.

Played on a Samsung S22 Ultra No issues with the game's performance. Touch controls are... okay. They work and attacking is fine. But picking up items is a chore. You have to wait for the grab icon to appear above an item. 8 times out of ten you're not close enough and end up swinging your weapon instead. Sorting through commands is even worse. You swipe left and right to change commands but it's so unintuitive. And forget about using defend - you're never gonna use it. Get the console version.

Why couldn't they keep the original music? The original intro? And what's with the additional stuff? No. Multi-player is only in dungeons, and it does not let you gain Myrrh if you are not the host, nor does it let you progress. Story isn't shared between all players either, making it less interactive. This is a terrible remaster of a very nostalgic game. I do not recommend anyone to play this if you intend to play multi-player with your friends unless you want to do the same map 4 times. 0/10
