The T‑Mobile Direct Connect app turns your smartphone into a full-featured Push-to-Talk (PTT) communicator. It supports 1-to-1 Direct Connect calls, Quick Group calls (up to 10), Group Connect calls (up to 30), Talkgroup calls (up to 250 via CAT Tool), and Broadcast calls (up to 500). Use Push-To-X secure messaging to send pictures, videos, files, audio messages, texts and location. Direct Connect works on 5G, 4G LTE and Wi‑Fi. Note: Direct Connect service must be added to your T‑Mobile line before activation; enable location/GPS, contacts access and push notifications for full functionality.

Direct Connect also offers higher tiers for demanding operations: Business Critical adds Emergency Calling, Area-Based Dynamic Talkgroups and large talkgroups up to 3,000 members. Mission Critical PTT provides advanced mission features (talkgroup/user profiles, remote user check, enable/disable, operational status messaging, ambient/discreet listening and MCX talkgroups). Continued GPS use in the background may significantly impact battery life.

Had to get a new phone and nothing could be transfered.

I got a phone with this pre-installed and could not uninstall it. Consumed way to much battery and also when I deactivated the app, it activated itself after a restart.
