I have my own NextCloud server and the app is installed on my NextCloud server and my devices. It stinks among all of them properly and it's private. No one has a copy of my notes but me, yet they're available wherever I go. Nice to have: Built in encryption but it's not a deal breaker for me.

2024-06-08	at*****	Hello When I want to sync to Nextcloud, even though it is installed on the phone, the nextcloud installation request page comes up, and it connects with another method, but it does not sync. This problem does not exist if you use old versions that only have one mode to sync with NextCloud.

2023-10-29	kh*****	Has potential, but I can't rely on it. The sync with Nextcloud is flaky, and some attachments never seem to show up. When I make changes to a note I never know if they'll ever appear on the desktop or not. Syncing via Nextcloud app doesn't seem to work at all either.

2022-02-08	Sa*****	It's a good app, my only real complaint is when the goddamn screen while you type and jumps all over the place with each letter. If there's a way to fix that, a suggestion would be great. Also (to the creator/creators) is there a PC version of this?

2022-01-08	Sc*****	We use ownCloud in our organization and have the Carnet App enabled. However, the mobile app doesn't appear that it will authenticate with our ownCloud server. We run the Enterprise version 10.8. Any thoughts I why it won't authenticate? I was able to install the next cloud app, authenticate to my ownCloud server, then synchronize carnet via the app. I would rather not use the Nextcloud app. Please let me know

2021-11-02	Ol*****	Like it and use it but it has problems that need fixing. Reading so much about crashing one would think the developers do something but last update was on March! Is it abandoned? Crashing happens when sync directly to nextcloud. 8f sync thru NC app is done, all works fine. Also, pinned notes don't show on top. What is pinning a note good for then! Would be nice if fixes are coming!

2021-01-27	Vl*****	Installed as a replacement for Google Keep. I connected it to my Nextcloud instance. Needs some polishing, but overall it's a worthy replacement, if not better than Keep. It works OK, but I had some sync issues. When I make changes to a note in the Nextcloud app, the mobile app just overrides them on next sync. So far, I've noticed this with ticking and unticking boxes and adding new tasks in a TODO note, didn't try with a normal note.

2020-11-28	13*****	Since android 10, major issues, first Carnet lost the location of my notes, making it look like i had lost 2 years of notes. Luckily I found them on my phone, I think, but they are all in .sqd format and I can't find anything to get the data in a legible format. The latest version of the app with android 10 won't let me create a note so i can get rid of the fake notes. And when i point to cloud copy of the folder with the sqd files in it shows nothing, just want my notes back.

Went from a OnePlus 3 with Android 9 to a Redmi note 8 pro, android 10.

Some notes have been deleted by adding keywords to other notes. Changing between browser app and mobile app too quickly also causes data loss or duplication. The app is so close to being good but design decisions, poor implementation of features and data loss make this app unusable.
