CheckInOk – Simple safety check-in alarms for real life

CheckInOk helps individuals, families, carers and trusted friends stay connected using scheduled safety check-in alarms.

Create a private group, choose daily or weekly check-in times, and decide who should be alerted if something is wrong. At the scheduled time, CheckInOk sounds an alarm and asks the sender to respond OK or Not OK within the check-in window.

If the check-in is missed or marked Not OK, trusted group members are alerted.

Scheduled alarms that are hard to miss

CheckInOk uses local device alarms to deliver check-ins at the selected time.

On supported Android devices, users can optionally allow full-screen alerts so the OK and Not OK response screen can appear while the phone is locked. If full-screen access is not enabled, CheckInOk uses its standard alarm notification instead.

Full-screen alerts are only used for scheduled check-in alarms and related missed or Not OK alerts.

Optional missed check-in email alerts

Group admins can add an email contact to receive an additional alert when a check-in remains unresolved for approximately six hours.

This also allows someone to use CheckInOk on their own without requiring another person to install the app. A trusted contact can receive the delayed email alert instead, making it suitable for situations where an immediate response is not required.

The email feature is optional. Removing the email address disables email alerts.
