Fortune Doors

Fortune Doors - a symbol matching game set in an Egyptian temple, where three carved stone doors stand in front of the player and a scroll above them shows one sacred sign: the ankh, the eye of Ra or the winged scarab. Every round the doors are shuffled and each one carries a different sign, and a single tap on the door whose medallion repeats the sign on the scroll opens it and reveals the treasure chamber behind it. A correct choice moves the game to the next round, raises the round counter and lights one more stone on the carved bar at the bottom of the screen, which fills in runs of five and then starts over. A wrong door ends the attempt at once and opens the closing screen with the round reached and the best result kept on the device, from where the player can start again or return to the menu. The best result is saved between sessions and remains after the app is closed; it can be cleared at any time from the settings panel, which also holds a vibration switch for tap feedback. The game screen has a pause control that freezes the round and opens a panel with resume, restart and menu options, and the same settings panel opens from the menu as well. The game runs without sound, in portrait orientation and fully offline, opening with a splash screen and a menu that shows the best result and buttons to start or leave, and there are no timers, so each round takes as long as the player needs to compare the sign on the scroll with the three doors.
