Overall, the MediacomConnect Android app has a mixed reception. Pros include a bill-pay feature, an easier-to-read UI after updates, outage/status notifications, and functioning core features when it works. Major drawbacks are frequent login/authentication problems, payment/auto-pay failures, crashes and unreliability, lack of dark mode and UI concerns, and disappointing customer support.

Frequent login/authentication failures (invalid grant, can't log in, 2FA and password reset issues).

No dark mode / subpar UI design (bright, dull, or hard-to-read UI).
Poor customer support.

Recent reviews

Half of the options don't do anything when you click on them, service always goes out without explanation or even acknowledgment, no way to resolve this from the app. "Try resetting" like that isn't the first thing everyone tries. Mediacom being Mediacom, overpaid, underdelivered.

Never works! Always end up calling to just to log into my account. When their system is down and you try to log into their app, you have to wait for a security code, which in my many experiences has never come to my phone and the time for responding has expired. I learned that selecting "phone call" has worked. It's easier to access my bank and financial accounts.
