Overall, the MediacomConnect Android app has a mixed reception. Pros include a bill-pay feature, an easier-to-read UI after updates, outage/status notifications, and functioning core features when it works. Major drawbacks are frequent login/authentication problems, payment/auto-pay failures, crashes and unreliability, lack of dark mode and UI concerns, and disappointing customer support.

Pros

Bill payment via the app is a key feature.

Core functionality works when the app is functioning.

Cons

Frequent login/authentication failures (invalid grant, can't log in, 2FA and password reset issues).
Payment processing failures and auto-pay problems.
Crashes and unreliable performance (app closes, loads slowly).
No dark mode / subpar UI design (bright, dull, or hard-to-read UI).
Poor customer support.

Recent reviews

My first review was on 9/29/2023. It is now 5/29/2026, and somehow Mediacom is STILL screwing me over. I haven't had this worthless internet/cable service since 10/8/2024, and now all of a sudden, I have a negative mark on my credit report for failing to return the equipment. Funny thing is, I only know the exact date the service ended in 10/2024 BECAUSE OF THE RECEIPT I STILL HAVE THAT I WAS GIVEN AFTER RETURNING THE EQUIPMENT. Do yourself a favor, do not use Mediacom. It's this small 🤏🏻.
