Since its establishment in 2014, the "Cantonese Information Collection" has been providing users with the Cantonese pronunciation of single characters in a number of Cantonese literature for users' reference, including the "Cantonese Pronunciation List of Commonly Used Words" published by the Institute of Language Education of the Hong Kong Education Department and the "Cantonese Pronunciation Dictionary" jointly compiled by Chinese language scholars from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The website contains classics and materials spanning multiple eras, allowing researchers to gain a glimpse of the appearance and development of Cantonese music in society.

As the "Cantonese Audio Collection" is about to enter its 10th year, a corresponding mobile application "Cantonese Audio Collection" is now provided to allow users to conduct single-character queries more conveniently.

The program provides the following functions:
- Word query: Enter the word you want to query and get its pronunciation instantly in the app.
- Pronunciation query: Enter the Cantonese pinyin symbols to query homophone groups.
- Bookmarks: Add frequently used words to bookmarks for faster querying in the future.
- Record: Automatically record the checked words for easy viewing at any time.
- Pronunciation function: Provides the same pronunciation and pronunciation demonstration functions as the website.

Since the "Cantonese Pronunciation Collection" does not provide detailed explanations and usage examples for single characters (especially non-phonetic characters), it is more suitable for intermediate and advanced Cantonese speakers to solve the pronunciation doubts of some words used in daily life.
