An instruction appears. You have a few seconds to carry it out.

It looks simple: double-tap, touch the green circle, wait for the
signal. But it's not always what it seems, and it's often the
last word that changes everything. Your finger moves faster than you can read, and
that's exactly where the game awaits you.

WHAT YOU'LL FACE

More than two hundred different instructions, divided into major categories, each
targeting a different weakness.

Colors that deceive.

Shapes to count, mental math problems, general knowledge questions that appear at the worst possible moment.

Rules to remember. A rule appears, then the game moves on to something else.

It will reappear several levels later, exactly when you've
forgotten it.

Sounds to recognize, for instructions that rely solely on sound.

And surprises that appear across the screen without warning, to see if your finger
stays put.

THREE WAYS TO PLAY

The Rooms. A building with ten rooms to traverse floor by floor. Each has
its own theme: shapes, colors, time, memory, the pitfalls of the
French language. Three difficulty levels, and a tower without a top floor
for those who want more.

The Daily Challenge. Every day, a set of identical instructions for all
players, with only one attempt. At the end, you receive a small results grid to send to whomever you want: it shows where you went wrong without revealing
any answers. Come back every day and your streak grows.

The Duel. Facing another player, you climb the same tower with the same
instructions, each at your own pace. The one who climbs the highest wins. You can
also create a six-digit code to challenge the person of your choice.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The game works offline. The internet is only used for duels and leaderboards.

There's no account to create, no password, no email address to provide. You just open it and play. For duels, you simply choose a nickname.

Each instruction lasts between three and ten seconds. You can play for a minute while waiting for the bus, or play for much longer without even realizing it.

Everything is in French, written to be easily understood.

WHY IT'S SO DIFFICULT

It's not your fault. Your brain reads a word faster than it understands its meaning: this is what scientists call the Stroop effect, and it has been studied for almost a century. Under Pressure relies on about ten weaknesses of this kind. Add a timer and a big red button that practically begs to be touched, and you've got ten-second sessions that turn into entire evenings.

Everyone falls for it. The first trap usually falls on the third level.
