SoundGuard 2 Android

SoundGuard 2

Shield yourself from harmful sound: hum, infrasound, ultrasound.

Features & Capabilities

SoundGuard 2 — Real-Time Harmful Frequency Shield

Warning:
⚠️ Please note: the displayed decibel (dB) levels are relative values.
They may appear 10–20 dB higher than actual measurements from calibrated sound meters.
This does not affect the suppression quality — only the visual indicator.

Not all sound is heard.
Infrasound (1–20 Hz), low frequencies (20–200 Hz), and ultrasound (above 20 kHz) surround us daily from ventilation systems, machines, electronics, and more.

These frequencies can cause:

headaches

irritability

insomnia

anxiety

fatigue

ear pressure

ringing (tinnitus)

poor concentration

internal vibrations

SoundGuard 2 listens to your environment, identifies harmful frequencies, and actively cancels them in real time using adaptive sound waves.

Features:

Automatic background analysis

Real-time peak detection

Suppression of up to 10 frequencies

English and Russian support

Minimal ads

Works with screen off

How to use SoundGuard 2
Open the app

On first launch, the app will ask for microphone access.
Tap “Allow” so that SoundGuard 2 can analyze your surrounding sound.
Without this permission, the app will not function.
Wait for it to load. The interface is clean and simple.

Set the frequency range
Use the "Min frequency" and "Max frequency" sliders to define the analysis range.
Recommended: 0–22050 Hz (typical harmful low frequencies).

Adjust suppression level

Set suppression in decibels, e.g. 80 dB

Or choose AUTO mode for adaptive suppression

Tap “START”
The app will start analyzing the sound and actively suppressing unwanted frequencies in real time.
It works in the background and with the screen off.

Noise Suppression Tip:
If you hear a beep or tone, it means some frequencies are not yet fully suppressed.
Slowly move the "Suppression Level" slider to the right until the noise fades.
When it becomes quiet, the suppression level is correctly set.

Observe
You’ll see the top 3 frequency peaks and their loudness (dB).
This helps you understand what’s affecting your environment.

To stop – tap “STOP”

Harmful Sound Frequencies from 1 to 200 Hz
1–20 Hz (Infrasound):
Inaudible to the ear, but felt physically. Sources — industrial turbines, power plants, large fans.
Effects: anxiety, internal vibration, dizziness, panic-like responses, blood pressure changes.
20–50 Hz:
Very low hum. Sources — transformers, compressors, heavy machinery.
Effects: irritability, fatigue, poor sleep, reduced concentration.
50–100 Hz:
Common in homes via walls, floors, or ventilation systems.
Effects: head pressure, inner trembling, tinnitus, agitation.
100–150 Hz:
Audible humming or vibrating tones.
Can provoke: stress, ear pressure, headaches, especially with long exposure.
150–200 Hz:
Low-frequency background tones from appliances, heating systems.
Effects: psychoacoustic discomfort, lack of focus, general unease.
