Sonos Widget Plus puts your Sonos system right on your home screen. No more
digging through apps — control music, switch rooms, start your favorite
playlists and adjust volume with a single tap.

🎵 BEAUTIFUL DESIGN
The widget is built to look good. Album art fills the card, the controls sit
exactly where your thumb expects them, and a smooth animated equalizer tells
you at a glance whether anything is playing.

🎨 FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE
Three independent color pickers let you make the widget yours:
• Background color — 10 curated palettes (Slate, Onyx, Midnight, Forest, Plum,
Sunset, Carbon, Sonos Yellow, Red, White)
• Accent color — recolors the play button and the equalizer bars (10 colors)
• Controls color — recolors every other element: track title, volume bars,
progress bar, room chip, next / previous icons (10 colors plus Auto)
• Transparency — slide from fully opaque to 100% transparent for a
floating-controls look that lets your wallpaper show through

📻 ONE-TAP FAVORITES
Pin up to five Spotify favorites or Sonos playlists directly to the widget.
Tap once and they start playing on your selected room — no app launches,
no playlist drilling. The album disc animates the moment you tap.

🏠 MULTI-ROOM CONTROL
• Switch which Sonos room the widget controls by tapping the room chip
• Add more rooms to the playback group from the room picker
• Volume with discrete preset levels (1 to 5 buttons, your choice) or a
fine-grained slider

⏱️ SMOOTH PROGRESS COUNTDOWN
The track countdown clock updates every second, smoothly — no jerky
once-per-update jumps. The progress bar matches.

📐 TWO WIDGET SIZES
• Medium (4×2): now-playing controls, room selection, volume
• Large (4×3): everything in medium plus the favorites row

🔒 PRIVACY-FIRST
• No accounts, no sign-ups, no developer-operated servers
• No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting, no tracking
• Your music history, room names and favorites never reach the developer
• The only internet requests are anonymous fetches for album-art thumbnails

⚙️ HOW IT WORKS
The widget talks to your Sonos speakers using their built-in UPnP control
protocol over your home Wi-Fi network. No Sonos account is required —
the app finds your speakers automatically the first time you launch it.
Discovery, control and metadata all happen locally on your LAN.

🎧 WORKS WITH ANY MUSIC SERVICE
Because we talk to Sonos directly (not to your music service), Sonos Widget
Plus controls playback no matter what's streaming: Spotify, Apple Music,
Amazon Music, TuneIn radio, Tidal, Pandora, your own library, line-in —
anything Sonos itself supports.
