Sonim BLE Connect

Sonim BLE Connect is a specialized application designed to enable seamless pairing of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) accessories with Sonim rugged devices, including the XP5, XP5s, XP7, and XP8 models. The app operates through Sonim SCOUT and offers a user-friendly interface to connect compatible BLE accessories like Aina BT RSM, Aina Smart Button, Klein Electronics (BLU-PTT), and PRYME Button Controls.

This extension enhances communication for workforce-critical industries by allowing other applications to receive Push-to-Talk (PTT) intents from paired accessories, supporting hands-free operation especially in vehicular environments. Sonim BLE Connect supports solutions that combine durable Sonim hardware and BLE controllers to improve field communications efficiently. Note that it is not compatible with Sonim feature phones like the XP1520, and is primarily intended for Sonim smartphones used in demanding environments like construction, security, and oil & gas sectors.
