ChatBlue is a messaging app that works entirely offline, directly between devices: no internet, no mobile data, no servers and no accounts. Messages travel straight from one phone to the other over Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct or Nearby Connections.

It was built for moments when connectivity is unavailable: disasters and emergencies, remote areas, travel, or simply staying deliberately offline.

HOW IT WORKS
• Choose a connection method: Bluetooth Classic (works with most devices), Wi-Fi Direct (faster, longer range) or Nearby Connections (requires Google Play services).
• Open the app on both devices; one makes itself discoverable, the other scans and connects.
• That's it — start chatting. No sign-up, no phone number, no verification.

FEATURES
• Text messages, voice messages, photos, files up to 20 MB and location sharing
• Chats are stored locally on your device and sync between the two phones when they reconnect — history stays complete on both sides
• Delivery status ticks; transfer progress for photos, files and voice messages
• Connection quality panel: signal level, live upload/download speed and link status
• No Google services needed for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct
• Light and dark theme; English and Turkish

PRIVACY
• No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no ads
• Your messages go only to the device you are chatting with; nothing is uploaded to any server
• Permissions are requested only where needed: Bluetooth/Wi-Fi for discovery, microphone for voice messages, and location only for device discovery (required by Android) — your location is never tracked, and it is sent only if you attach it to a message

GOOD TO KNOW
• Range depends on the environment: Bluetooth Classic is workable to about 10 m; Wi-Fi Direct and Nearby Connections can reach considerably further in open areas.
• Both devices need the app installed; keep the screens on while connecting.
• ChatBlue is not a replacement for emergency services.
