You want to go for dinner. You don't want to cook. You don't want to send 12 messages to find out if anyone's free.

Sponio lets you throw out a plan and see who's in, no awkward asking, no rejection, no endless coordination. You just show up.

How it works

Create a hangout with a time, place, activity, and how many people you want. Choose which friend lists to invite: your gym crew, your study group, your board game people, and post it. That's it. Friends nearby (in closeness, not just distance) will see it in their feed, ordered by how close you are and how soon the plan is.

The unlock mechanic: no lurking allowed

Friends only see the activity name, time, and location at first. To find out who's hosting and who else is going, they spend an unlock. Unlocks are limited and refill every 24 hours, so people have to actually decide if they're interested, rather than silently tracking everyone's plans. Once they unlock it, they can choose to join. A join means yes, I'm coming. No maybes.

No rejection. Seriously.

As the host, you only ever see yeses. You never find out how many people saw your plan and passed, whether it reached 5 people or 50, you just see who's actually coming. And once your plan is full, it disappears from everyone else's feed. No one sees what they can't join.

Your friend groups, actually organised

Build friend lists around how you actually hang out: gym buddies, study group, food people, music taste, sport activity. Target different plans to different lists. The right invite always reaches the right people, without broadcasting everything to everyone.

Plans happen now

Every plan is within the next hour to the next two weeks. No event sitting in a calendar for months that gets cancelled the night before. Spontaneous means spontaneous.
