SOCYiD™ helps reduce scams, fake profiles, and impersonation when meeting someone you don’t already know—whether that’s a date, a coffee, buying or selling something, or any in-person interaction that starts online. It’s a consent-based identity exchange designed to establish trust through earned social reputation.

Social media mixes identity with personal life—photos, friends, history, and lifestyle. SOCYiD separates those things on purpose. It gives people a way to show they’re real without turning a potential meetup into permanent access to their personal world.

Instead of sharing phone numbers or personal social media accounts, users exchange SOCYiD handles or share a SOCYiD Passport™. A Passport isn’t a social profile. It’s a limited, purpose-built identity view meant for meeting someone—not for broadcasting your life.

Each SOCYiD user is issued a unique SOCYiD number that’s permanent and never reused. That number is what gets exchanged. Conversations and coordination stay tied to SOCYiD identities, so meeting someone doesn’t automatically create ongoing access afterward.

SOCYiD works alongside the platforms people already use—or on its own. A SOCYiD handle can be posted online, exchanged in person, or used to connect directly inside the app. Messaging, identity sharing, and planning happen in a space built specifically for real-world interactions, not social networking.

For added assurance, SOCYiD offers optional, on-platform identity verification powered by a trusted third-party provider. Verification uses a government-issued ID and a live selfie to confirm that an identity check has been completed. SOCYiD does not store identity documents. Verification appears as a signal on a user’s Passport, showing that an identity has been checked without exposing personal details.

There are no feeds, follower counts, or discovery algorithms. SOCYiD isn’t about building an audience or sharing a lifestyle. SOCYiD Passports™ are shared intentionally, for a specific interaction, and for a limited time. When the interaction ends, access ends.

Trust on SOCYiD is built through real-world interactions. Ratings and reviews reflect actual experiences—not likes, reach, or online popularity. Reputation is earned through participation, giving both sides clearer context when deciding whether to meet.

SOCYiD Passports™ can be shared in-app or by secure link—even if the other person isn’t on SOCYiD. Shared access expires automatically, keeping each interaction focused and contained.

Meetups can be planned inside SOCYiD with built-in scheduling, location sharing, and live arrival updates. Meet at SOCYiD Check-In™ locations hosted by participating storefront partners and select public-safety locations, with any available incentives shown before choosing where to meet.

Additional trust signals are available, including verified school-affiliation badges for eligible college students.
