SocialView

SocialView is a full-featured social media mobile app, similar in spirit to Instagram/WhatsApp combined — built with React Native (Android-focused) and a Firebase backend. It's a substantial, production-style project, not a toy app: real-time chat, voice/video calling, stories, and a social feed with likes/comments/posts.

Core features
Social feed
- Photo/video posts with multi-media carousel, captions, likes, comments
- Edit/delete posts (with cascade delete of related likes/comments and storage files)
- "Liked by" list, post reporting, share/copy link

Stories
- 24-hour expiring stories (photo/video), grouped by user, seen/unseen rings (WhatsApp-style)
- Story viewers list, replace/add story flows

Real-time chat
- 1-to-1 messaging (react-native-gifted-chat), typing indicators, online presence, pin/delete conversations, unread badges, search/filter chat list

Voice & video calling
- Built on Agora SDK, with a full call state machine in Firestore (calls collection): ringing, busy detection, minimize/resume (mini call bar), call history with duration tracking, incoming call screen with vibration

Auth & profile
- Email/password + Google Sign-In, email verification gating, password reset/change, editable profile with avatar upload, phone privacy settings, profile completion meter

Supporting screens
- Search/discover users, About/Contact/Blog (WebView), settings
