Tap the cloning vat to spit out a zombie, then drag two matching zombies together to merge them into the next mutant. Horde Lab is a clicker game and a merge game running at the same time: tap to create, merge to evolve, and let the lab keep producing while you are away. TAP, THEN LET IT RUN
Every tap fires the vat and spawns a specimen. Buy lab buildings and they clone for you every second, forever. Come back after an hour - or overnight - and a pile of zombies is waiting. As an idle game, the numbers never stop climbing, even offline.

MERGE A MONSTER
Drag two matching specimens together and they fuse into the next tier - shambler, biter, mutant, brute, acid-spitter, cyber-zombie and beyond. Every merge is a distinct pixel monster and a permanent production boost, so the merge and the clicker feed each other.

PRESTIGE AND EVOLVE
Hit a wall and trigger a New Outbreak. You reset the run but bank Mutagen for the Virus Evolution Tree - permanent upgrades that carry into every future run, the incremental game hook that keeps the climb going. Push far enough and the Extinction layer opens a second prestige.
