SMT-Cash turns the messages your bank already sends you into a clear picture of your money.

Most expense trackers die the same way: you stop typing. SMT-Cash reads the transaction SMS your bank or wallet sends, records the amount for you, and keeps your balance right without you touching anything.

IT LEARNS

Bank messages are not written the same way twice. If SMT-Cash reads one wrong, correct it once and it remembers the pattern. You can also tell it to ignore a kind of message for good. What you teach it survives resetting your data, reinstalling, and switching phones.

ABOUT THE SMS PERMISSION

SMT-Cash asks for permission to read SMS only when you switch Automatic SMS tracking on yourself. The rest of the app works fully without it.

Only messages containing your finance keywords are looked at. One-time passwords, personal messages and promotions are discarded before the reader ever sees them. Messages are read and understood on your device — the app does not send your messages anywhere.

PRIVACY

• Your message text stays on your phone. Only the resulting transaction is saved to your account.
• If you want your message text saved to your account as well — so it follows you to a new phone — there is a switch for that in Settings. It is off unless you turn it on, and turning it off deletes everything it saved, instantly.
• We never sell or share your data. There are no ads and no advertising trackers.
• The app never touches your contacts, call log, photos, camera or location.
• Delete everything you have recorded with Start over, or delete your account and all of its data from inside the app, with no request and no waiting period.
