Bass Tester Android

Bass Tester

Test the bass in your subwoofer, car or home audio system or headphones.

Features & Capabilities

Bass Tester is a handy Chrome extension that generates pure sine wave tones to help you test the bass frequency response of your audio systems. Whether you're using a subwoofer, car audio setup, or home audio system, this tool allows you to feel bass frequencies down to 20 Hz and below.

The extension also offers sample music clips designed to produce very low tones, enhancing your ability to evaluate your audio system’s bass performance. For the best experience, connect via a mini plug or Bluetooth to your subwoofer—listening solely on your phone may not showcase the bass effectively.

User Reviews

Bass Tester is broadly praised as a practical, easy-to-use bass-testing tool that helps users assess bass response across headphones and speakers. It offers adjustable frequency controls (notably 1 Hz–1 kHz) and is useful for beginners and car audio tuning. The main downsides are occasional stability problems and a desire for more features and broader range. Overall, it’s a solid bass-testing utility with room for feature enhancements.
Pros
  • Excellent tool for bass testing and understanding frequency response across headphones and speakers.
  • Easy to use and beginner-friendly with a straightforward interface.
  • Broad frequency controls, including testing from 1 Hz to 1000 Hz.
  • Valued for car sub tuning and general bass assessment.
Cons
  • Occasional stability issues, such as crashes or getting stuck on a tone.
  • Users frequently request more features and a fuller frequency range (e.g., full-range testing, background bass booster).

Edit: You want to test your speaker bass, use this app, no ads, no cr.p. I came back after a few years and none of the other offers are as straight forward and simple as this. Does everything you'll expect it to do. You can test how well anything responds to low freq sounds aka bass

Nice app, but it would be better if it had full range audio to test.
