Descarte Argentino

Argentine Discard – A Card Game

Who hasn't played Discard, Jo DT, or 150 with friends or family?

The goal is simple: be the first to get rid of all your cards. Some cards have special powers that completely change the game.

It's a game that never goes out of style. From those nostalgic players who have played it their whole lives to younger players who learned it from a parent, uncle, or friend.

We know that every group has its own rules, but in this version, we had to standardize them. According to our statistics, the cards with special powers are:

2: The next player draws 2 cards (unless they already have a 2 or a wild card and repeat it).

Wild card: The next player draws 5 cards (repeatable, just like the 2).

7: You play again.

10: Change the suit; playable at any time.

11: Skip the next player.

12: Reverses direction (if there are 3 or more players).

How to Play

The game is played in the classic way: play a card of the same number or suit as the last card on the table.

Wild cards and 10s can be played at any time.

The first player to run out of cards wins the hand. The remaining players score points based on the cards they have left in their hand.

The last player standing wins the game.

Scoring

Cards are worth their face value, except:

2 → 20 points
Wild card → 50 points

If you reach 100 points… goodbye!

🗣️ Don't forget to call "Last card!" when you have only one card left… or you'll receive two penalty cards.
