Could not for the life of me beat the game. After several attempts, I always got stuck (and my progress was never saved). During my last try, on level 14, I spent twenty minutes searching randomly and then another twenty charting out a map. Turned out the map was inaccurate about half through creating it. After playing for over an hour, I gave up out of exhaustion. Good luck to any who attempts to beat this game.
