ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE — DISCLOSURE

Signova uses Android's AccessibilityService API solely to ensure reliable, uninterrupted digital signage operation. Specifically, the AccessibilityService is used to:

1. Keep the app in the foreground — prevents the operating system from moving Signova to the background during active display sessions, ensuring your screens never go blank unexpectedly.

2. Detect screen state changes — monitors when the display is turned on or off to automatically resume playback and maintain content continuity.

3. Auto-launch on device restart — ensures Signova relaunches automatically after a device reboot, maintaining 24/7 uptime without any manual action from staff.

The AccessibilityService is used exclusively for display management purposes. It does NOT:
• Collect, transmit, or store any personal or user data
• Record audio, calls, or screen content
• Access messages, contacts, files, or any other apps
• Change any device or user settings without explicit administrator authorization
• Override or bypass any Android privacy controls

This app is intended for use by authorized administrators and hospitality staff operating managed Android devices in commercial environments. All screen management actions are performed under explicit operator control through the Smartiv.tv CMS platform.
