Smart Planting App

This app is a powerful, intelligent tool for gardening hobbyists to monitor, control, and optimise their growing environment. It turns your Android smartphone into a central command hub for your smart planting controller, offering real‑time data and full remote control.

Getting Started
Download the app by scanning the QR code (from the manual or packaging) or searching “Smart Farming System” in Google Play. Register with your email and password, then log in. For security, you must re‑enter your password each time you restart the app.

Connecting to Your Controller
First, ensure your phone and home router are on the same 2.4 GHz network. In the app’s settings, select “WiFi configuration”. Choose “Direct Control” (local direct connection) or “Connect Router” (remote access via your Wi‑Fi). The app scans and finds your controller (e.g., “SmartCtrl‑XXXX”). Select it, pick your router, enter the password, and wait for “setup complete!”. A green Wi‑Fi icon on the controller confirms success.

Defining Ports
Your controller has multiple output ports (e.g., five Type‑C ports). Each can be assigned to a specific device – grow lights, fans, humidifiers, CO₂ generators, etc. Tap a port icon, select the device from the list, save, and the settings sync to the controller (allow a few seconds for network latency).

Home Dashboard
The main screen gives an overview: connected devices, network status, and a master on/off switch. You can rename your planting area, choose plant icons, and bind/unbind controllers. VPD (Vapour Pressure Deficit), temperature, humidity, and historical VPD curves are displayed, along with real‑time data for all ports.

Lighting Control
A dedicated lighting page lets you switch between global mode (one setting for all lights) and individual mode (adjust each light separately). Use a slider to set intensity (off, 10%–100%) and set schedules/timers for automated daily cycles. Save changes to sync.

Fan Control
Similarly, fan settings are managed on a dedicated page. Toggle between global and individual modes, select a fan assigned to a port, and adjust speed from off to level 1–10. Schedules and timers can also be configured.

Three Control Modes
- Full Auto: All parameters (VPD, temperature/humidity ranges, CO₂, light) are preset from a plant database – just select your plant type. No user adjustments, ideal for beginners.
- Semi‑Auto: You can fine‑tune VPD, ranges, CO₂, and light intensity, but scheduling is locked. Offers partial control with automated stabilisation.
- DIY Mode: Full flexibility – every parameter and all schedule/timer routines are adjustable. Create custom day‑night cycles and precise daily plans.

Scheduling (DIY Mode)
Tap the “+” icon, select a device, choose which ports to control, pick days of the week, and set up to four time slots (AM1, AM2, PM1, PM2) with intensity/speed levels. Save and push to the controller for automatic execution.

Additional Settings
Switch between Celsius/Fahrenheit, choose light or dark theme, change language, and perform over‑the‑air (OTA) firmware updates. A factory reset erases all user data – use cautiously.

Account Management
From the settings tab, you can log out, switch accounts, or change your password anytime.
