Nyas - STM32 Programming Suite

Nyas turns an Android phone or tablet into an STM32 programmer. Connect an ST-Link probe over USB OTG and flash, read, verify or erase firmware on a target board without a laptop.

WHAT IT DOES

Write .bin and .hex firmware to STM32 targets over SWD. Read flash back from the device, verify a binary against it, or erase the chip. Detect the target automatically and report chip ID, flash size, SRAM size, ST-Link hardware version and expected chip series. Edit option bytes, including watchdog selection, nRST_STOP, nRST_STDBY, user data bytes, flash write protection and read protection level 1.

The app has no binary file size restrictions, and there are no plans to introduce them in future.

CONNECTION CONTROL

SWD clock selectable across twelve steps from 5 kHz to 4 MHz. Connection modes: normal, connect under reset, and hot plug. Optional manual start address and flash size override.

LOGGING

Every operation is logged with millisecond timestamps. View the log as a flat event stream or grouped per command with elapsed time for each step. Filter by command, app, error or warning, search the buffer, and share a session.

HARDWARE

Works with ST-Link V2, V2-1 and V3 probes. Requires a device with USB OTG support running Android 8.0 or later, plus a USB OTG adapter or cable.

PRIVACY

Nyas has no internet permission and requests no runtime permissions. USB access is granted by the system per device when you connect the probe. Nothing is collected, transmitted or stored off the device.
