Slay Speech: English Speaking

Learn to speak English with confidence. Slay Speech is the English-speaking practice app built around one idea: you learn English by speaking it out loud. Speaking English is a skill that opens many doors, but sadly, other apps often deprioritize it.

Why Slay Speech works:

1. You will speak from day 1
Read phrases aloud and watch them light up word by word as you speak. Every word gets a score, and you can tap any word to practice it further with our deep practice mode: syllable-by-syllable breakdown, audio description, and what it means.

2. The app will guide you with friendly feedback
Slay Speech hears the difference between "she" and "see," "tin" and "thin" and shows you the exact mix-up, the words it appeared in, and how to shape the sound with your mouth and tongue. Listen to the difference, watch a video, then try again.

3. You can keep track of your hardest words and sounds
The app tracks which sounds trip you up across all your practice and builds your review around them. Open the sound library anytime for instructions, videos, and practice words for most English sounds.

4. Learn from real people and stories
Watch short video stories told by real people: everyday moments, funny stories, and real conversations. Answer questions, then say the key phrases yourself.

5. Practice real-world situations.
Order a pizza. Handle a job interview. Make a phone call. Practice real scenarios three ways: pick replies, type your own, or talk it through in a live voice call.

6. Follow a path built for learners like you.
Units built around real topics like sharing opinions, work, and travel. We combine our phrase, story, and conversation exercises, alongside our short lessons, to make it easier to learn and practice new skills.

7. Learn in your language
Use Slay Speech in 100+ languages, with feedback and captions you’ll actually understand.

8. Form a habit
Streaks, points, levels, a daily phrase with real-life context, and gentle reminders that learn your schedule.

Your speech recordings are used to give you feedback. Sharing data to improve the app is optional and off by default, and you can delete your data anytime.
