StayCool

StayCool helps you understand — and manage — how heat affects your home and the people in it.

Developed by Sustainable Living Lab (SL2) and supported by the SG Eco Fund, StayCool is a Singapore community programme that pairs smart home sensors and a wearable device with this app, so you can see how your home handles the heat and get simple, practical ways to stay cool and comfortable.

WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE APP • See live temperature and humidity readings from sensors placed around your home, with easy red/yellow/green alerts • Get "Make My Room Cooler" tips tailored to your home, your habits, and what's actually working • Sync your StayCool wearable to keep an eye on how the heat is affecting you personally • Use the in-app chat to get cooling tips or report a problem with your devices • Stay connected to the volunteers and staff supporting your household

WHO IT'S FOR StayCool is built for heat-vulnerable households in Singapore — including elderly residents and families in non-airconditioned homes — as well as the community volunteers and partners who support them. Anyone can download the app to learn more about the programme; the full dashboard and personalised tips unlock once your home is set up with StayCool's sensors and wearable through the programme.

YOUR PRIVACY Your information stays confidential. StayCool only collects what's needed to help keep your home cool — nothing more — and always tells you what your wearable, sensors, and the app are keeping track of before anything starts.
