DrillGround - Fire Training

DrillGround helps one firefighter answer three questions: what should I work
on, how should I train it, and what do I do next?

Most drill libraries hand you a list and let you guess. DrillGround starts by
asking where you actually stand — ten quick questions, one tap each — then picks
drills that match your weakest areas, your experience, who is with you, and how
long you have got.

TRAINING ALONE
24 of the 87 drills run with nobody else in the bay, and 53 have a solo path of
some kind. Every drill says plainly whether one firefighter can run it, and where
a crew drill has a solo version, it tells you what stands in for the missing
people, how to score yourself without an observer, and — honestly — what the solo
version cannot teach you.

WHAT IS IN IT
- 87 drills across company officer and command, engine and truck company, driver
and pump operations, SCBA and survival, RIT and mayday, multi-company, hazmat,
technical rescue, and line-of-duty-death case studies
- Promotion prep: oral board practice, written exam technique, assessment
center scenarios, and leadership judgment
- Every drill carries its objective, setup, steps, success criteria, teaching
points, common mistakes, and safety notes
- Line-of-duty lessons drawn from published NIOSH investigation reports

TAILBOARD
After a drill or a call, log how it went in about ten seconds. It is a private
note to yourself, not an after-action report — it feeds your next
recommendation and it goes to nobody. There is no share button, deliberately.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No login. No tracking. Your self-assessment and your reflections
are saved on your own device and are never transmitted. An honest
self-assessment only works if it is private — you should be able to say you are
shaky on something without that going on a record anywhere.

WORKS OFFLINE
The whole library is on your device. It works in a bay, a stairwell, or
anywhere with no signal.

WHAT IT IS NOT
DrillGround is advisory. It is not a certification platform, not a compliance
record, and not a replacement for qualified instruction or officer judgment.
Where your department has policies or SOGs, those govern. Live-fire training
must follow your department's own requirements and be run by qualified
instructors.
