Motion Detection Camera

Motion Cam turns any spare phone into a smart, always-watching security camera — no extra hardware, no subscription required.

Smart Motion Detection Choose fast pixel-based motion detection, or switch to AI-powered Smart Vision (Pro) that uses on-device ML Kit to recognize people, pets, and vehicles — filtering out false alarms from lighting changes, shadows, and wind.

Never Miss the Moment A continuous rolling buffer with Pre-Roll capture (Pro) records the seconds before motion is detected, so you always see how an event started.

Exclusion Zones (Pro) Mask out areas you don't want triggering alerts — a busy street, a ceiling fan, a flickering light.

Auto-Arm Schedule (Pro) Set Motion Cam to arm and disarm automatically on a daily schedule, by day and hour.

Google Drive Cloud Backup (Pro) Automatically back up every motion clip to your own Google Drive, with Wi-Fi-only sync and per-event upload status.

Covert / Stealth Mode Dim the screen and hide on-screen indicators so your phone can watch discreetly, with OLED burn-in protection for extended use.

Custom Alerts Choose a chime, your own ringtone, or spoken voice alerts (Pro bundle) when motion is detected.

Flexible Camera Control Switch between back, ultra-wide, and front lenses; control zoom and torch; track live motion levels with an on-screen meter.

Manage & Export Footage Browse recorded events in a built-in gallery, play clips in-app, and export or share video. Free exports carry a watermark — watch a short ad to unlock a clean export, or go Pro for instant watermark-free sharing and an ad-free gallery.

Built for Reliability Thermal- and battery-aware monitoring keeps your phone safe during long recording sessions.

Your Privacy, Your Device All motion and AI detection happens on-device. Nothing leaves your phone unless you turn on Cloud Backup to your own Google Drive.

Perfect for a baby monitor, pet cam, porch watch, workshop security, or any DIY home-security setup using a phone you already own.
