This is a smart App designed for the SPECTRA LED WIFI control range of aquarium luminaires, such as Aqua Helios, Spectra Sphere series ect.
Control your Spectra lighting with your smart phone or your tablet:

The Spectra LED will be wirelessly controllable through the SPECTRA mobile app. Using your smartphone you’ll be able to control six channels of LEDs which can be programmed for 24 different time periods, with a new and improved dimming algorithms for better simulations of sunrise and sunset modes.

This app does not work it doesn't pick up home wifi networks

Doesn't work, I can connect the the lights WIFI so I know the light itself works, but the app doesn't find the light. EDIT: I can connect to the light and use WiFi using a old iPad mini and the Sanrise LED app. As this is the case I assume it's a Spectra app issue. EDIT: Based on update 2.4.3 the app now shows the progress bar when searching for the device, however it still doesn't show up in the list.

The light this is supposed to control is priced the same as the Aqua Illumination Prime Reef HD and it sucks. The app sucks. The light controller built into the light sucks. This loses connection almost all of the time. The interface is hard to understand and is FAR from intuitive. I still don't have it set up completely right.
