Signal Flow is a streamlined mobile app designed for audio engineers, musicians, and live sound technicians to manage signal paths and equipment efficiently. Featuring a sleek dark interface with purple accents, it offers an intuitive platform to map, track, and troubleshoot audio setups, whether in a small studio or a large concert venue. The app simplifies complex workflows, helping users maintain control over their sound systems with minimal effort.
The main navigation includes Dashboard, Signals, and Inventory tabs. The Signals section starts with a search bar and a welcoming "No signals yet" message, accompanied by a "+ Add Your First Signal" button to kickstart your setup. This easy onboarding ensures users can begin plotting signal routes—such as mic to mixer to speakers—without delay. The Inventory tab mirrors this, showing "Total Items: 0," "Low Stock: 0," and "Total Value: $0," with a "+ Add Your First Item" option to log gear like cables or microphones.
The Dashboard provides a quick overview with stats like "Total Channels: 0" and "Active Signals: 0," updating as you add data. It includes sections for Equipment Status and Upcoming Tasks, initially empty but expandable with details like maintenance schedules. Quick Actions offer one-tap options: "+ Add Signal" for new routes, "+ Add Task" for reminders, and "Record Levels" to log audio checks, making real-time adjustments seamless.
Signal Flow excels in practical audio management. The Signals section allows detailed routing entries—input sources, processing units, and outputs—searchable for quick edits. Inventory tracks gear with fields for Name, Type (e.g., Mic), Unit (e.g., each), Quantity, and optional Cost, flagging low stock to avoid mid-show failures. Production logging supports level readings to optimize sound quality.
With its dark mode design and purple highlights, the app ensures visibility in dim venues, while bottom navigation (grid, wave, box icons) and a floating "+" button enhance usability.
