When optimization is unlikely to provide a meaningful saving—or may make a digital PDF larger—Pagrix recommends sharing the original instead. This feature prepares scanned and image-heavy PDFs for email or messaging quickly, keeping Share Original available when creating a smaller version is not worthwhile.
