Simple MD Reader

Simple MD Reader opens markdown files and reads them. The same reader, the same
look and the same settings on Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.

Open a .md, .markdown, .mdown, .mkd or .mdx file and it opens like a
document. Light and dark themes, seven palettes, and type you can set
yourself. The file is never changed.

WHAT IT DOES

- Opens a document three ways: the Open button on the toolbar, a drag onto
the window, or a paste.
- Registers itself for markdown files, so it can be the app that opens
them.
- Keeps a list of what you read last, so the next one is one click away.
- Lists every heading of the document in an outline, on the left, however
long the file is.
- Finds a word as you type, with Ctrl+F on the keyboard.
- Every measurement and every color is a setting: the light and the dark
theme, seven palettes, the accent, the link color, the typeface and the
size of the text, the width of the page, the space between the lines, the
size of the code.
- Every change applies at once, while you read.

NO ACCOUNTS, NO TRACKING

No account, no sync, no tracking, no advertising. Your documents stay on
your machine. The reader asks for nothing but permission to read the files
you open, and the network for the update check.
