*** ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE API USAGE DISCLOSURE

To help protect your device from malware, miss configuration and security flaws, Shindan requires access system diagnostic information. This is why this Companion app exists.

Generating this information (a system 'bug report' and enabling remote access for scanning) requires complex steps in Android's developer settings. Our app uses the AccessibilityService API to make these steps easy and accessible for all users.

What data is accessed: The Accessibility Service is strictly used to perform automated screen taps and navigation within the Settings app.
No data is stored or sent to any external services.

Why it's essential: This automation is necessary to help users who lack the technical knowledge to:
* Enable Developer Mode.
* Trigger the 'bug report' generation.
* Optionaly Enable ADB (Android Debug Bridge) for secure remote scanning.

Privacy Commitment: Shindan Companion's use of the Accessibility Service is temporary and only when you actively start the setup process. It is NOT used to monitor your screen, read passwords, collect personal data, or interact with any other application outside of the initial setup in the Settings menu.

Once bug report generated, or ADB accessed, you can use the exact same buttons to switch back your device in standard mode, hence disabling what have been enabled.

This app will guide & assist you to complete the security preparation:

- generate the bug report for analysis,
- (if needed), allow its secure access from another machine through ADB,
- get your system back to its standard settings to avoid further misconfiguration.
