Shield Wallet

Shield Wallet brings privacy to the Stellar network. Built on zero-knowledge proofs (Groth16), Shield Wallet lets you send XLM and USDC tokens without revealing your balance, transaction amount, or counterparty on the public ledger.

How It Works

Each transaction generates a zero-knowledge proof that verifies:
- Sufficient balance exists in the pool
- No coins are being double-spent
- The transaction respects the deposit/withdrawal rules

The proof is verified on-chain by a Soroban smart contract, ensuring complete security without revealing any private information.

Privacy Technology

Shield Wallet uses a UTXO-based privacy model with:
- Stealth addresses for recipient privacy
- Merkle tree-based commitment scheme
- Groth16 zero-knowledge proofs over the BN254 curve
- Shielded amounts using elliptic curve cryptography
